Standard Agreements Arkan Can Execute
- Mutual NDA - standard template at /enterprise/nda/; or Arkan can review and execute the client's standard NDA where compatible with UAE law and MOJ ledger duty.
- Master Services Agreement (MSA) - bespoke per client. Reviewed by legal counsel where matter complexity requires.
- Data Processing Addendum (DPA) - per UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021); aligned with the client's DPA where reasonably compatible.
- Statement of Work (SOW) - per project: scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, acceptance criteria, escalation contacts.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) - for ongoing engagements: response times, turnaround SLAs, named project manager, capacity commitments.
Operational Model - Honest Disclosure
Procurement reviewers should understand Arkan's actual operating model rather than inferring it from marketing language. The full picture:
- Arabic ↔ English: handled directly, in-house, by the MOJ-licensed translator (Khaled Mohamed Abdeltawab Aladl) under License #701. Direct personal accountability - every certified document carries his stamp and signature.
- Other MOJ-licensable language pairs (French, German, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Korean, and others): handled by contracted MOJ-licensed translators, each holding their own MOJ license. Each is identity-verified, NDA-bound, and disclosed by name to enterprise clients on request under NDA.
- Language pairs without UAE MOJ coverage (Tagalog, Greek, several African and Central Asian languages): certified under Arkan company certification (DUL #CJ9803). This is the legally recognized path for these pairs since no MOJ translator exists in the UAE for them; it is not a downgrade.
- Boutique scale, no automation: Arkan is deliberately small. Legal translation is not run through automated machine-translation pipelines. Speed claims (4-24h Arkan Go, same-day options) apply to routine documents and supported language pairs only.
- Corporate structure: Arkan Legal Translation is registered as a Sole Establishment under the E-Tajer framework. This is a deliberate boutique structure, not a hidden detail. Enterprise procurement teams evaluating vendor financial robustness should request the bank letter and any project-volume references they need.

Conflict Checks
For litigation interpretation and adversarial-party translation, Arkan runs conflict checks against existing engagements before accepting work. If a conflict exists, we disclose and the client decides on the path forward (decline, ethical wall, alternate translator).
KYC / AML
For high-value engagements, regulated-industry clients, or matters touching sanctioned jurisdictions, Arkan applies KYC procedures:
- Identity verification of the engaging entity and authorized signatories.
- Screening against the UAE Cabinet's targeted financial sanctions list per CBUAE AML/CFT regulations.
- Source-of-funds review where the engagement structure warrants it.

Arkan Legal Translation operates two primary digital storefronts:
- arkancertifiedtranslation.ae - this site, focused on enterprise legal translation and high-stakes interpretation.
- OnlineTranslation.ae - related storefront, focused on routine personal documents and retail volume.
Both storefronts route to the same legal entity (DED #1333628) and the same MOJ-licensed translator (License #701). Legal accountability and confidentiality obligations are identical regardless of which storefront the client engages through.
Response Windows
